How Send to Site works
We rebuild your WordPress site as fast static pages, then you change it by email. You describe the change, we build it on a copy and check it, and you get a preview with a Publish button. Up to 4 SEO articles a month arrive the same way: nothing goes live until you approve it.
Step 1, once
The rebuild: same site, rebuilt to be fast
Your WordPress site is rebuilt as static pages with the same look, the same words and the same addresses. Nothing is switched over until every page has passed its checks.

We check the site is a fit
Service businesses, company sites, portfolios and blogs rebuild well. Online shops, memberships, courses and booking systems need a server, so we say so up front.

We copy it, with your written permission
Every page, image and file is collected the way a visitor's browser sees it. We read your site openly and respect its rules.

We rebuild it as static pages
Each page becomes plain, fast HTML. WordPress's plugins, scripts and login page are left behind. Your forms keep working and your analytics stays, loaded after the page.

Every page is checked against the original
The visible text, links, headings, page title, description and canonical address must be identical, and the look must match on desktop, tablet and phone. Speed and SEO are tested too. On dcreviews.co.za, all 33 pages passed.

We switch your domain over
Old addresses keep working or redirect permanently, a fresh sitemap is published, and AI search crawlers are welcome. Your email and domain registration are not touched.
Step 2, whenever you need it
Changes by email: send it, check it, publish it
Write to changes@sendtosite.com the way you would write to a person who looks after your website. This is what happens next.
You send the change
Plain words are fine. Attach photos, a PDF or a Word document if it helps: up to 10 files, 15 MB each. A marked-up screenshot works too.

We build it and check it
The change is made on a copy of your site, never the live one. Automated checks build and test it, and a separate reviewer confirms it does only what you asked and nothing else. If something is unclear, you get up to three quick questions first.
You check the preview
You get a link to your site with the change in place, and three buttons: View preview, Publish this change, Cancel this change. Want it different? Reply and say so; you get a new preview.

The change is rebuilt against your latest site, checked once more and goes live. You get a note when it is. Every change is kept in version history, so an undo is one reply away.

One change at a time
A second email while a change is open is added to it, so two edits never collide.
Reminders, not pressure
An unopened preview gets one reminder after three days and expires after seven. Nothing on your site changes until you publish.
Only you can ask
Changes are accepted from the email addresses registered for your site, and the sender is verified. A forged email is refused.
Step 3, every week or so
SEO articles: written for you, published only if you approve
Up to 4 a month, one at a time, at your pace.
- A topic is chosen from real search data. What people in South Africa search for, what your site already covers, and what it could realistically rank for.
- The article is written and fact-checked. Every claim is checked section by section. Anything about law or money is worded carefully, and anything that cannot be checked is not sent.
- The whole article arrives in your inbox. Paragraphs are numbered, so "change paragraph 4" is all you need to write. There is a link to see it in your site's own design.
- You publish it, change it or decline it. Reply with changes, tap Publish, or tell us not to publish it. The next article is not written until you decide.
- It goes live and gets indexed. The page is checked once it is live and submitted to search engines straight away.

Limits, stated plainly
What we will not do, and why
Some requests are declined by design. Each one protects your site, your visitors or your accounts, and a person explains if yours is one of them.
- Add tracking scripts, embeds or third-party code. They slow the site and can leak visitor data.
- Delete a whole page. Too easy to do by mistake from a short email; ask a person.
- Touch anything outside the website. Your domain, email, hosting accounts, social media, payments and bookings stay under your control.
- Redesign the whole site from one email. That is a design project, not a change.
- Put ID, card or bank numbers on a page. We stop the request and tell you.
- Guess. If a request cannot be understood, a person replies within one business day instead of building the wrong thing.
Questions about how it works
How long does a website change take?
A small text change usually reaches your inbox as a preview within a few minutes; on our pilot site one went from email to live in 3 min 57 s. Changes to the layout or the site-wide styling take longer, sometimes more than ten minutes. The acknowledgement arrives within a minute either way.
What if my request is unclear?
If the answer would change what you see, you get up to three short questions in one email, with options to pick from. Small gaps are filled with a sensible choice that is listed in the preview email, so you can correct it before publishing.
Who checks the changes?
Three things stand between an email and your live site: automated checks that build and test the site, a separate reviewer that only reads the change and confirms it does exactly what you asked, and you, because nothing goes live until you tap Publish.
Can I undo a change after it is live?
Yes. Reply to the email about that change and ask for it to be undone. Every change is stored in version history, so the undo restores exactly what was there before, and you get a preview of it like any other change.
What happens if I ignore a preview?
You get a reminder after three days. After seven days the preview expires and we tell you, and nothing on your site changes. Send the request again whenever you are ready.
