How much should I pay for website maintenance?
Published South African care plans run from under R100 to almost R7 000 a month, and most sell a set number of hours for changes, with hosting often extra. Send to Site is R1 500 a month including VAT for the first six months, which covers rebuilding your site, then R750 a month. Hosting, changes by email and up to 4 SEO articles a month are included.

Do websites need monthly maintenance?
A WordPress site does: its core software, theme and plugins need regular updates and security patches, and something has to run the backups. A static site has no plugins and no login page, so most of that upkeep disappears. What every site still needs is correct, current content, and that is what the monthly plan looks after.
What if the change is not what I wanted?
Reply to the preview email and say what to change, in plain words. The change is rebuilt and you get a new preview. Nothing goes live until you tap Publish, and if you change your mind afterwards, reply and ask for it to be undone.
Will I lose my Google rankings when you rebuild my site?
The rebuild keeps every URL, and every page is checked against the original before the switch: the same words, links, headings, page titles and descriptions. Any address that has to move gets a permanent redirect. Nobody can promise rankings, but a move that changes nothing search engines read is the safest kind there is.
Can I still edit the website myself?
Not through a login, because there is none, and that is part of why the site is fast and hard to break into. You email the change instead, from any device, and approve the preview. Tell us which email addresses may send changes, and anyone on your team can do it.
What happens to my domain and email?
They stay where they are, in your name. Your domain is pointed at the new site, and nothing else changes: your email, your domain registration and your other accounts are never touched.
Which websites can you not rebuild?
Online shops (WooCommerce), membership sites, online courses and booking systems. Those need a server running behind the pages, so a static rebuild is the wrong tool. Service businesses, company sites, portfolios and blogs are a good fit.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. There is no minimum term: give us one calendar month's notice, even during the first six months. Your domain, email and content were always yours, and we hand over your site’s files so any developer can host them. See the terms.
